MOUNT VERNON''S UPPER GARDEN - PART 2


I am sharing the last of the photos I took at the Upper Garden, at least until I get there another time.  No more narrative, just the photos.

  3. More stunning photos of the gardens beautiful flowers and another stunning image of a butterfly. I would be quite happy sitting on that bend in the shade enjoying the sights and the sounds of nature around me.

  4. Lovely photographs once again. I particularly like the 10th picture down. I missed the butterfly at first. I saw it as I was scrolling down. I scrolled back up to get a better look at it :)

  7. LOVE that last photo of the fence. and I almost missed the butterfly in number 10... perfect cammoflauge, so beautiful. all the photos are so pretty and that bee is nose deep in his flower buffet

  13. I have always said that I wanted to plow up my backyard and plant nothing but wild flowers. Cone flowers and Black Eyed Susan would look great in my plowed up back yard (in my mind).....but alas, that would mean more weeding! haha....Great photos. Very, very pretty.
